The Lawson-Clarke Wedding Cupcakes

I had the pleasure of doing my big sisters wedding cakes in April. It was a great honour and responsibility to make them for her and my now brother in law.

We decided to have 3 flavours for the big day
Vanilla sponge, vanilla butter cream icing and pearl sprinkles
Chocolate sponge,chocolate butter cream icing and white chocolate curls to decorate
And finally Strawberry sponge (with a real strawberry inside) strawberry butter cream and pink glimmer to decorate.

They all went down a success and I was complimented all night on how light and tasty they were!

Overall I made close to 200 Cupcakes! My largest order to date.

It was a challenge to do as I have never baked on such a scale and with being a bridesmaid as well made the time constraints just a little tighter than I would have preferred.

Doing all of these cupcakes showed me I have a real passion for this as my future career and has spurred me on to really go for it!

Cannot wait to do some more creations for another wedding!
